The Alachigh company was born to deliver new nomadic tent design concepts, aiming to push innovation and manufacturing based on old traditional tent designs, a touch of old with a new twist.

The cart tent of the Nogay, the Iranian Alachigh, the Scottish highland benders, the Kutuk, and others. Tents that could have brought a wealth of beauty and tradition back into modern tourism industry, but never made it. The concept behind this system is a metal and rib connector system, and patterned canvas and wool. These days as the out door industry is struggling with a clear vision, when sustainable to some means extra luxury cabins and lonely holidays, as pioneers of this industry, our vision is different.

Using metal, steamed hard wood and the highest quality canvas we have created some of the nicest nomadic tent forms in a new way. Our commitment is to bring back some of the  threatened forms of nomadic tents back to life. Over the years most tent manufacturers have focused on geodesic domes or yurts, Safari tents and few other modern variations. What in our view is missing is a new interpretation of old nomadic designs. There bender types that no one ever treated, rib tents and frame tents, that have never seen the light of day, the vision of this project is to bring them into being under new modern design, using natural materials but exploring different interpretation.
